The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) teamed up with GCash, one of the leading mobile wallets in the Philippines, to offer a more convenient payment system for its events and productions.
The partnership will utilize GCash’s widespread digital platform to broaden access to CCP’s offerings.
“We are thrilled to partner with GCash. This collaboration will help streamline CCP’s operations and provide valuable data to optimize our offerings. At CCP, we are always looking for ways to enhance the experience for our patrons, subscribers, and audiences by providing them with a secure, seamless, and faster way to access our events,” CCP president Kaye Tinga said.
“This is an exciting step as we continue to innovate and connect with audiences in the digital age,” she said.
The partnership introduces a cashless, hassle-free payment solution for CCP’s patrons, eliminating the need for physical cash and long queues. Attendees can easily make payments using their smartphones, enhancing convenience for both local and international audiences.
Through GCash’s Scan to Pay service, which will be deployed at various CCP venues and partner locations, the organization will streamline ticket purchases, merchandise transactions, and other services. Customers will be able to make payments by simply scanning a QR code displayed at designated Scan to Pay sites.
