Cebu Pacific said Wednesday it carried more than a million passengers to and from Clark International Airport in 2024, up 36 percent from the previous year.
The average monthly seat count grew 102 percent to 161,000 in December 2024 from 79,000 in January.
The average number of flights also almost doubled from 441 in January to 872 in December.
It said the increase in flights and seat count aligns with the airline’s mission to make travel more accessible to travelers from the central and northern Luzon areas such as Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, Benguet, Isabela and La Union.
“We are delighted by the strong growth we achieved in 2024, which highlights the growing demand for accessible air travel among our passengers from central and northern Luzon,” said Cebu Pacific chief marketing and customer experience officer Candice Iyog.
“Cebu Pacific remains steadfast in its commitment to offering affordable and convenient flights, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our customers,” she said.
The airline services 11 domestic and international routes out of Clark.
Cebu Pacific earlier reported a net income of P3.4 billion in the first nine months of 2024, or 33 percent lower than in 2023.
The airline reported total revenue of P74.5 billion in nine months ending September 2024, an 11-percent increase from the same period in 2023
It said the growth was driven by 17.5 million passengers flown, a 13 percent increase year-on-year, generating an average seat load factor of 84.9 percent.
Cebu Pacific operates in 35 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
