PHINMA Properties Holdings Corp. said it is establishing a new township called Saludad to address the growing housing and real estate demand and contribute to Bacolod City’s progress.
Located in the heart of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Saludad is a 21-hectare community that will offer residents a distinctive and enhanced living experience that captures the essence of Bacolod’s unique charm and potential.
PHINMA Properties said that within the township, neighborhoods offering a variety of amenities such as expansive open spaces, fitness areas and communal zones would be built for families to connect and thrive. It will also feature a bustling retail town center and venues for cultural, entertainment and sporting events that aim to enrich lifestyle and provide more economic opportunities in the city.
The project is part of PHINMA Properties’ commitment to create, foster and uplift nurturing communities for Filipinos families.
As a subsidiary of conglomerate PHINMA Corp., the company has a wide range of housing and real-estate projects within and outside Metro Manila.
The company said it is tapping into the potential of emerging regions to reach new customer bases, address unmet housing needs and contribute to local economic development, which aligns with the government’s initiatives to promote regional growth, and strengthens nation-building.
Bacolod City has a surging economy supported by a robust workforce, primarily driven by the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry and the overseas Filipino workers (OFW) sector.
The demographic shift raises the need for more housing and real estate, which is expected to accelerate with the projected influx of investments and enterprises following the establishment of the newly created Negros Island Region (NIR).
