GAC Motor Philippines reported a 172-percent increase in sales volume in the first half of 2024 to 1,702 units from 626 units in the same period in 2023.
GAC GS3 Emzoom subcompact crossover led the growth, accounting for 64 percent of total sales. The record sales placed GAC Motor in the 12th position in the overall local market share and 3rd among Chinese brands.
“Our GAC Motor Philippines team has shown unstoppable momentum as we continue to achieve new milestones and break new ground across the country,” said Astara Philippines brand head of GAC Motor Franz Decloedt. GAC MOTOR said it remains dedicated to meeting the diverse mobility needs of Filipinos with a growing lineup of vehicles.
