Teleperformance (TP), a major Philippine employer, celebrated outstanding female employees during its International Women’s Month Summit, the culmination of the company’s month long celebration.

The company employs 63,000 people in the Philippines and operates 45,000 workstations across 26 business sites in Metro Manila, Antipolo, Cavite, Baguio, Laoag, Clark, Bacolod, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Davao and General Santos City.

Underscoring its commitment to gender equality and workplace empowerment for women, Teleperformance marked the event with a ceremonial signing of its commitment to the Women’s Empowerment Principles (UN Women and UN Global Compact).

“We value support over criticism, respect over judgment, and encouragement over devaluation. Teleperformance Philippines has made significant strides in leading the change to empower women,” said TP Women chair and executive vice president of operations Toni Tompar.

“We are here today because of the women at TP and the true allies who made this community a place where women are respected, empowered and helped to succeed. Let’s all inspire inclusion,” she said.

TP chief executive Rahul Jolly echoed the organization’s support. “Teleperformance Philippines’ commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment is not just a promise for Women’s History Month, but a lifelong commitment of our team at TP. We pledge to maintain a diverse and inclusive workplace where every employee is supported in reaching their full potential in their careers,” Jolly said.

The celebration brought together women and allies from various sites and subsidiaries. Special recognition was also given to Teleperformance employees who champion workplace gender equality and women’s economic empowerment.
