Astara, one of the world’s leading mobility companies, is the new exclusive distributor of JMC pick-up vehicles in the Philippines.
Aastara CEO Jorge Navea said the contract strengthens Astara’s relationship with the Chinese manufacturer, following the signing of similar agreements with Jiangling Motors Corp. Limited, makers of the JMC vehicles in Chile, Bolivia and Colombia in 2019.

Astara’s distribution of JMC in the Philippines also consolidates the company’s strategic expansion in Southeast Asia, which started in 2021.
The company’s primary focus is to build a solid dealer network, achieve leadership in the pickup segment, and implement effective strategies to promote and strengthen the brand’s image and products.
Jiangxi Jiangling Motors Import & Export Co. Ltd.(JMIE) president Suen Xiaoquan is bullish about the Philippine automotive market.
