The operator of Clark International Airport said Friday it is ready for the expected influx of passengers traveling to holiday destinations and those returning at the close of the season.

Luzon International Premiere Airport Development said the Clark airport has yet to maximize passenger capacity at its expansive new terminal building, which has an 8 million annual capacity.

LIPAD said total guests in 2022 reached 780,000.

It welcomed 85,000 passengers in November, 77 percent of whom were international passengers. It received 102,000 passengers in December, with 75 percent as international passengers.

It said that aside from lesser time spent on queues, CRK boasts of other features that add to the pleasant travel experience of guests. It employs a one-time security check and has contactless systems available.

The airport offers a good selection of dining options, including the newly-opened Barcino, Cafe Mary Grace, TGM Root98, Bluesmith, Peri-Peri and Gong Cha.

Aviation hospitality services – Plaza Premium Lounge and Airport Meet & Assist Services are also available.

It has a lounge available for OFWs and genderless comfort rooms and gender-neutral toilets. There are elevators and escalators in each boarding gate – making the terminal accessible to all.

The four-level terminal is on an area of 110,000 square meters.

Located 80 km. northwest of Manila, CRK takes an hour-and-a-half drive from Manila.

CRK has point-to-point services to and from Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Trinoma, Dau and Baguio City operated by Genesis Transport Services for commuting passengers.

Victory Liner also operates P2P services to and from Dagupan and Olongapo.
