BANGKO Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Amando Tetangco Jr. was cited for the eighth time by the New York-based Global Finance magazine as one of the eight best central bank governors this year.
Tetangco was credited for his successful efforts in managing inflation and monetary stability in the country. Tetangco received the same citation in 2006, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Tetangco got an “A” rating, which represents an excellent performance. The full Central Banker Report Cards 2016 report will be published in the October issue of Global Finance.
