Datta said the strong talent pool and market demand in the Philippines would be a crucial part of that continued growth.

“With the opening of our Manila office, we are the only specialist provider in the market with the right combination of local presence, global resources and world class solutions to fulfill the Philippines’ data modernization and EPM needs in the most cost effective manner possible,” Datta said.

Jennifer Ligones, president and chief executive of Third Pillar, said the decision of BackOffice Associates to open an office in the county reinforced Third Pillar’s commitment to provide a solid foundation for business services among the enterprises in the country.

“Large enterprises in the Philippines are steadily adopting advanced technologies to increase digitization and automation of their businesses as the country continues to post strong economic growth,” Datta said.

BackOffice has been serving local customers such as Ayala Land Inc., Manila Electric Co. and JG Summit Holdings since 2011.

Datta said that with BackOffice now in the Philippines, local companies could save millions of dollars from data quality management.
