A series of lectures on the “New Journey of Digitalization and Intelligentization of Education” kicked off at Hope Christian High School on March 14, 2025.
The event was jointly sponsored by the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), the Philippine Jin Jiang Grand Family Association and Hope Christian High School.
FFCCCII president Dr. Cecilio Pedro, vice president Hong Jian Xiong, board director Ke Wei Han and other leaders attended the event.
Pedro shared insights on digital technology, AI, the Internet of Everything and man-machine coordination, emphasizing how these advancements are reshaping traditional education models.
He encouraged Filipino-Chinese schools to embrace digital transformation and AI in education.
Earlier this year, FFCCCII donated a Huawei IdealHub electronic screen and software to Hope Christian High School.
Pedro urged the school to set an example for other Filipino-Chinese schools by utilizing the new technology.
Teachers from the English and Chinese departments demonstrated how the electronic whiteboard and AI-powered picture books were incorporated into their lessons, showcasing the practical application of new educational tools.
