To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and China, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines and the Federation of Filipino Chinese Associations in the Philippines announced a collaborative logo design contest.
The contest aims to highlight the strong friendship between the two countries, celebrate their unique cultures, and promote a vision of peaceful relations.
The winning logo will be featured as the official theme logo for the 50th anniversary celebrations and will be used on commemorative T-shirts, promotional material, and other event-related products.
Filipino and Chinese citizen sare invited to participate in the competition.
Submissions are being accepted until 8 p.m. on March 13.
The public will have the chance to vote for their favorite designs in an online poll, with the top four designs receiving the “popularity award”.
The final winner will be selected by the Chinese Embassy and the Federation of Filipino Chinese Associations in the Philippines, with the announcement scheduled for March 21.
The initiative promises to be a meaningful way for both Filipinos and Chinese nationals to engage in celebrating a milestone in their shared history and future collaboration.
