The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) and the Chinese Embassy in Manila, in collaboration with the Federation of Filipino Chinese Alumni Associations Inc. (FFCAAI) are set to host the 2024 Cultures of China Water Cube Cup Chinese Songs Contest on May 5, 2024 at the ground floor of the FFCCCII building.

The contest aims to promote traditional Chinese culture, foster stronger ties between the Philippines and China, advocate for legitimate entertainment activities and cultivate singing talents within the Filipino-Chinese community.

Participants in the contest will be divided into two age groups: the teenager group, comprising individuals aged 12 to 17, and the youth group, belonging to those aged 18 to 40.

Each group will have separate preliminaries, semifinals and finals for individuals of the said ages to showcase their vocal abilities and creativity.

Participants are required to sing in Chinese and perform self-composed original songs.
