NGCP, in partnership with the local government of Bataan, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority and the Bataan Philippine National Police, is giving former drug dependents a new lease on life through the company’s Bukas na Pintuan Tungo sa Pagbabago program. The program, which is in support of the administration’s war on drugs, started in 2017 by setting up TESDA training camps in Bataan for drug dependents looking to turn their lives around. Three TESDA technical skills trainings were offered to beneficiaries: scaffold erection, pipefitting and welding.
