Safety served daily

Fast food giant Jollibee reaffirms its commitment to bringing joy to customers while ensuring their safety in a heartwarming campaign video.

Their smiles may be covered by face masks and shields, but the crew members at Jollibee, in its latest campaign video, are genuinely happy to serve.

Set to the classic Rey Valera song “Kumusta Ka,” the Safe at Alaga Ka video demonstrates Jollibee’s efforts in ensuring the welfare of its customers and its store teams through enhanced safety protocols, extra care in food preparation and handling, and its signature warm and friendly customer service.

In the video, the store team is seen diligently preparing to serve joy safely wearing complete PPE, disinfecting high-touch areas, and strictly following a safety checklist to ensure the team’s compliance.

Careful food prepation, no-touch transactions, and cashless payments are some of the ways the fast food giant ensures safety of its customers and staff.

The safety protocols such as proper physical distancing, cashless payments, and no-touch transactions are observed in all its distribution channels – whether for take-out, delivery, drive-thru, or order and pick up (accessible through the Jollibee App).

Food is prepared and handled with extra care. For take-out and drive-thru, speakers are installed and lapel microphones are used by the crew members to further minimize direct contact. All store team members are serving food with a smile under their face masks and face shields.

“The pandemic has really brought about changes in our lives. While things are different, we remain committed to serving joy to our customers by strengthening our safety protocols and providing extra care through our Alagang Jollibee,” says Jollibee Philippines marketing head Francis Flores.

Flores continues, “Health and safety are our priority, and this is our promise not only to our customers, but to our hardworking and highly dedicated employees and store teams as well.”

The JFC Group has earlier announced that it is setting up a vaccination program to provide free vaccines for all its employees in the Philippines, and is also sourcing vaccines for their dependents, extended family, and household members. The free vaccination program is supported by communication efforts, including webinars on vaccine education.
