MMDA officials led by Chairman Benhur Abalos test a new ferry boat—a 50-seater donated by the New San Jose Builders Inc.—from the Pasig River Ferry Service at the Guadalupe Ferry Station in Makati City on Thursday. Abalos plans to double the number of boats plying the river to increase their capacity and shorten the waiting time of passengers. Three new ferry stations in Quinta Market in Manila, Circuit Makati, and Kalawaan in Pasig City are currently under construction.
