The festival is a week-long event held every January to commemorate Tarlac’s rich history and culture. With the restrictions and health protocols being implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City Government of Tarlac mounted this year’s Kaisa Festival as a one-hour TV special.

“While the current pandemic has restricted us from staging mass gatherings and other activities such as festivals, this has not deterred  GMA  Regional TV from our commitment to bring important occasions closer to our Kapuso in the regions,” shared  GMA  Regional TV and Synergy First Vice President and Head Oliver  Victor Amoroso.

“We are honored to partner with the City Government of Tarlac to broadcast the  Kaisa Festival TV Special  via our regional stations strategically located across the Philippines. We look forward to giving our local viewers more reasons to celebrate our history and culture in this time of the pandemic,” he added.

The “Kaisa Festival TV Special” aims to recognize the Tarlaqueños’  deep desire to unite in creating a progressive and peaceful future for all. It will highlight the Tarlaqueños wisdom and talent through the previous year’s various festival activities that provided entertainment to the public.
