Using paintbrush and canvas, gifted deaf students share a glimpse of different kinds of unspeakable beauty in the ongoing virtual exhibit entitled “UNSPOKEN: Communication through the Arts.”
The group show, which opened at the North Tower of SM City North Edsa, is a joint project of LINK Center for the Deaf, ArtisteSpace Inc., and SM. It aims to help strengthen the skills and potential of these students who were able to use art as a communication tool in expressing themselves and their thoughts.
Gracing the physical launch at SM City North Edsa were LINK Center for the Deaf president Carolyn Ui, ArtisteSpace Inc. managing director Anton Magpantay, exhibit curator August Santiago, and artists Boysie Villavicencio, Joe Datuin, Al Perez, and Juno Galang.
The artists and organizers were welcomed at the launch by SM senior vice president of marketing Millie Dizon, and SM City North Edsa’s Rex Crucillo.
The exhibit is ongoing virtually at www.kunstmatrix.com/en/artistespace-inc until Jan. 30.
