Rozz Daniels, known in her circle as soft rock diva, is launching a new song. Entitled “Napamahal Nako,” the song was specifically made for her by composer Adonis Tabanda.
In preparation for the recording, Rozz said she practices practically every day so she can sing her first song perfectly.
"I practice daily for this song. I look forward to having everyone hear this new OPM offering,” she said in an interview.
Rozz has nothing but praises for her manager-discoverer Nick Vera Perez for his all-out support to attain her ultimate dream of becoming a singer. Likewise, she was happy to have joined the latter’s show on Kumu, which according to her eased her pandemic blues away and showcased her singing ability.
Moreover, she said, the NVP1WORLD family show on the live streaming platform from October to December 2020 had successfully raised funds for charity.
"We did the campaign ‘Race to Face to Care’ where 100 thousand worth of relief goods would be awarded to the charity of choice of Mr. NVP. Then finally, Mr. Nick Vera Perez won! I was and still am very happy as I was there with him throughout the campaign as part of the winning team."
Rozz said she is now living her childhood dream. She has always wanted to sing joining several amateur singing contests to get her big break. In 2010, she participated in a contest in Wisconsin, USA.
"I've been singing since I was 8 years old. Then at 10, I joined a choir,” Rozz shared.
The Pinay singer loves ‘80s music. Back in her younger days in her native country, she enjoyed and admired the music of Julie Vega (“Somewhere In My Past”), Jam Morales (“Even If”), and Sharon Cuneta (“Mr. DJ”).
It was his late father who encouraged her to sing but she stopped singing due to several reasons: early marriage, work, studies, and living in the US. When his father passed away in 2015, Rozz said she decided to fulfill his last wish for her to sing professionally.
Now based in the US, she is scheduled to come home to the Philippines to promote her first single and join her mentor in his concert should the situation permits.
