James de los Santos added two more golds to his collection and so did his three female proteges, Julie Anne Marcos, Fatima A-Isha Lim Hamsain and Christine Colonia.
De los Santos ended up with his 20th and 21st straight gold medals after he joined the e-kata events of the Okinawa eTournament World Series #2 and the Nox Dojo Markham City Open eTournament.
A score of 25.3-24.2 in his individual male seniors finals match with Matias Domont of Switzerland gave De los Santos the gold in the Markham City tourney. In the Okinawa meet, De los Santos prevailed over Alfredo Bustamante of the United States, 2.8-24.48, in the championship round.
Marcos won the gold after besting Emilie Ida of Norway, 24.2-23.58, in the 21-under female kata finale. Hamsain earned a silver after bowing to Jelizaveta Vasieljeva of Latvia, 23.58-24.26, in the under-15 action, while Colonia took the bronze medal in her quarterfinal clash with Jessica Vlai of Germany, 23.66-24.9, in the under-18 side.
