To help Metro Manilans address the issue of food self-sufficiency amid the COVID-19 pandemic, DENR National Capital Region through its Production Forest Management Section provided Caloocan City with vegetable seedlings which they can grow and redistribute to their constituents. PFMS Chief Arturo G. Calderon supervised the delivery of the seedlings on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at the New Caloocan City Hall. Calderon and his team were received by Aurora C. Diego, City Planning and Development Department head of Caloocan City Government.
