The Philippine Stock Exchange said it suspended the trading of Lopez Holdings Corp., the listed holding company of the Lopez group, for failure to submit reportorial requirements.
The PSE said in a notice posted on its website that Lopez Holdings failed to file its annual report for 2019 and first-quarter financial report for the period ended March 31, 2020.
Lopez Holding’s media arm ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp., however, evaded trading suspension after it filed the 2019 annual report and the first and second0quarter financial reports for 2020 on Thursday.
Lopez Holdings, formerly Benpres Holdings Corp., also has investments power generation, real estate, manufacturing and infrastructure.
The company earlier requested for a delay in the filing of 2019 annual report and first-quarter financial report because of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and the completion of the audit of the financial statements of its significant investee firm ABS-CBN.
