Since the beginning of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in March, people have been living with uncertainty and fear because of the abrupt changes in their day to day routines.

Unable to cope, people tend to get confused and they end up making poor decisions based on fear. Even up to this day, in the new normal.

And these decisions, have long term implications, according to celebrity life coach  and best selling author, Myke Celis,

“If we let ourselves be overwhelmed by the situation on hand, we tend to decide impulsively without thinking of the consequences. I understand that people tend to act based on how they perceive the present, but then again, deciding must always be based on equal amounts of logic and emotions,” Myke shares.

A personal coach to selected celebrities and successful executives, Coach Myke recognizes the universal impact of COVID 19 pandemic.

“Everyone is prone to that. No one is safe because admittedly, times are challenging now, even during the new normal. But what we should remember is that we have a choice. The choice to simply breathe, take a step back and analyze the situation fully before deciding on it,” he says.

Coach Myke reminds people about this amidst confusion and change.

“If it’s not life-changing or does not need to be dealt with immediately, don’t stress about it. That is what causes the confusion: when you try to resolve so many things all at once. So don’t,” he points out.

The celebrity coach reminds people that during the new normal our main priority is our health and well being.

“Everything else can wait. Work can wait. School can wait. Dreams can too. But your life, your safety, and sanity, can’t be set aside,” he ends.
