FCF bares 2019 infra work in Vizcaya towns

Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya—FCF Minerals Corp. spent more than P16 million last year for its assistance to infrastructure development and support services to its host and neighboring communities.

Ian Moller, FCF’s general manager for sustainability, said they have completed 45 infrastructure projects in this town and in the neighboring town of Diffun in Quirino province.

“These projects benefited 18,356 villagers who are mostly farmers and micro-business entrepreneurs in our covered communities,” he said.

FCF operates the gold-molybdenum project in barangay Runruno in Quezon town.

According to Moller, the completed projects are the improvement of barangay roads in Darubba, Maddiangat, Aurora, Baresbes, Nalubbunan, Bonifacio in Quezon town and in barangays Tadji and Papaya in Kasibu town.

Other infrastructure projects were the improvement of forest park in Diffun, Quirino, development of Lintungan Falls in barangay Runruno, construction of hanging bridge in barangay Maasin, multi-purpose covered court and hall in barangays Dagupan and Runruno, respectively.

It also includes the K-12 Workshop Building and slope protection and rubble masonry also in barangay Runruno and improvement of irrigation canals in barangays Buliwao, Runruno in Quezon town, and in barangay Tadji in Kasibu town, among others.

Moller said their 2019 completed projects are now being used by the villagers in transporting their products to the market faster with ease.

The infrastructure projects were carried out by FCF under their Development of Host and Neighboring Communities – Assistance to Infrastructure Development and Support Services Program.
