“What we’re facing is something that we haven’t seen before,” Rosauro said. “The number of cases and fatalities is rising. Even the lockdown that the government is imposing is new to us, and obviously it’s harder for the less fortunate, but we have to do it in order to stop the spread of the virus.”

“The virus has affected us not only in health but with the way we live every day. But for me, we have to look at the things that we could learn in the situation we’re facing.”

Rosauro took away quite a few lessons while under lockdown. First is the value of saving. Not knowing when disaster will strike once more, Rosauro realizes it is important to be ready for the next big calamity.

“Here we’ve seen the importance of being ready financially in the time of crisis. In these times, the source of income is limited and work generally stops because of the lockdown,” Rosauro said.

“Now I am teaching my daughter the importance of saving because it’s such a big help in times of crisis. The importance of emergency funds can really be seen now.”

“Akiyama” also points out that people are more conscious about their health now, something that was taken for granted by some people before the crisis started.

The proud Cebuano urges everyone to boost their health by exercising regularly at home.

“Every day the number is rising, and people now are seeing the importance of having good health, because this is the only weapon that we have right now aside from staying in our homes,” Rosauro said.

“Now I encourage everyone to sweat it out and exercise. 30 minutes of exercise will be a big help in fighting the virus.”Catch all the ONE Championship action live and for free by downloading the ONE Super App.
