Ceres Negros FC won't be taking its game against Bali United of Indonesia lightly when they clash at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

Busmen coach Risto Vidakovic feels that the Indonesians can pull off a surprise against any complacent team.

“The group we are in is tight. The group is strong. The participants are all champions in our group,” said Vidakovic following yesterday's team presentation at the Sheraton Hotel in Manila.

The Busmen, who are on top of Group G, will take on the Indonesians behind closed doors.

They are ahead with their 1-1-0 win-draw-loss record, after drawing Than Quang Ninh of Vietnam, 2-all, last Feb. 25.

Bali United has a 1-0-1 slate after bowing to Svay Rieng, 1-2.

Edko Purjianto is the coach of Bali United.

Against Svay Rieng, the Busmen came away with a 4-0 rout last Feb. 11.

“We have a long way to go. We have to focus on our game,” added Vidakovic.

Svay Rieng is currently in second spot at 1-0-1.

Organizers have decided to hold the games behind closed doors for public health reasons.

This is because of the threats posed by the coronavirus disease-19 outbreak, in compliance with advisories forwarded by the Department of Health.
