The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Friday gave its go signal to the Department of Public Works and Highways to undertake concrete reblocking on seven road sections in the National Capital Region.
DPWH—NCR Director Ador Canlas said the repair works along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue will cover the southbound direction from Guzent Inc.—Construction Equipment Sales & Rental to Bansalangin Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk and from Approach B of P. Tuazon Flyover to Approach A of Boni Serrano Flyover, 4th lane from MRT line; and northbound direction after Aurora Boulevard to New York Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk.
Reblocking activities will also be made at the southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue from Sergeant Rivera Street to Bansalangin Street, 1st lane from sidewalk; westbound direction of General Luis Street near southbound Diversion Road; Elliptical Road from corner Maharlika Street, 9th lane from outer sidewalk; and Congressional Avenue Extension from Tandang Sora Avenue, 1st lane from center island.
Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes due to expected temporary traffic slowdown in affected areas.
Recently, the DPWH-NCR office conducted the repair and rehabilitation of three road sections along EDSA and another three other roads in Quezon City.
