Award-winning singer Beyoncé has officially become a billionaire, making her one of only five musicians to reach the milestone, according to Forbes.
On Monday, Dec. 29, Forbes said that the 44-year-old superstar crossed the billion-dollar mark after several highly profitable years driven largely by music and touring. She now joins an elite group that includes her husband Jay-Z, as well as Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna.
In 2024, Beyoncé reinvented her musical style with the Grammy-winning country album “Cowboy Carter,” broadening her audience and garnering widespread critical acclaim. This success continued in 2025, as she headlined the world’s highest-grossing tour of the year, further solidifying her financial standing.
According to Forbes, Beyoncé earned an estimated $148 million in 2025 before taxes, ranking her as the third highest-paid musician globally for the year. The figure reflects income from touring, music sales, and ownership of her extensive catalog.
Beyoncé has grown her business with things like a hair care line, a whiskey brand, and a fashion label. However, Forbes says most of her money still comes from her music. Owning her music rights and her company, Parkwood Entertainment, allows her to have long-term control over her work and income.
The publication did not disclose a precise net worth figure but confirmed that Beyoncé’s combined assets now place her firmly in billionaire territory.
