THE Department of National Defense (DND) has conveyed its condolences to the family of Antipolo 2nd District Rep. Romeo Macusi Acop, honoring his decades-long service to the country.
In a statement issued by Defense Assistant Secretary Arsenio Andolong, the DND recognized Acop’s extensive legislative career, noting that he consistently championed policies that strengthened national security and promoted peace and order.
The defense department also highlighted Acop’s background as a retired police general and a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Magiting Class of 1970, citing his enduring support for fellow veterans and his strong sense of camaraderie within the uniformed services.
“The Department of National Defense extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of Antipolo 2nd District Representative Romeo Macusi Acop,” the statement read.
