RFM expects 14% net income growth in 2025

Food and beverage firm RFM Corp. expects its 2025 net income to rise 14 percent to P1.4 billion, even as it projects only a modest 2-percent increase in sales to P22.2 billion.

RFM’s core brands across milk, pasta and flour remain the primary source of volume growth amid continued strong consumer demand, according to chief executive Jose Concepcion III.

It noted that overall sales momentum for 2025 was tempered by softer flour prices and missed selling opportunities. These missed opportunities were due to a series of typhoons and flooding in Luzon, which temporarily affected sales for Magnum RFM Ice Cream Inc., the company’s ice cream joint venture.

Despite these operational challenges, consumer demand remains resilient across key categories and profit margins have held steady, which helped temper the impact of rising input and labor costs, including nationwide wage increases implemented this year.

RFM plans to distribute P1.5 billion in cash dividends in 2025, with P500 million scheduled for payment on Dec. 19. At a share price of P4.61 as of Dec. 12, 2025, this translates to a dividend yield of 10 percent for the year.

RFM president and chief executive Jose Ma. Concepcion expressed optimism for 2026, citing expectations that a low-inflation environment would continue to support household consumption.

He said less volatile imported input costs could help manufacturers like RFM better manage currency-related risks amid a weaker peso.

The company’s ice cream joint venture, which produces Selecta, Magnum and Cornetto, will invest in capacity expansion in the coming years to meet growing volume demand. RFM’s pasta and milk businesses are also scaling their supply chain capabilities, focusing on unlocking efficiencies in warehousing and freight as volumes increase.

“With zero bank loans at the parent level and a healthy cash balance, RFM can continue to uphold its dividend policy and fund expansion projects across several business segments—without putting stress on the balance sheet,” Concepcion said.
