Leading the list of newly-promoted officers is Lieutenant General Aristotle Gonzales, Commander of the Northern Luzon Command.

The confirmation of his appointment underscores the AFP’s sustained effort to maintain a robust leadership framework essential to operational effectiveness and the uninterrupted execution of national defense missions.

The list of confirmed officers consists of three lieutenant generals, six major generals, one rear admiral, and 17 brigadier generals.

“These promotions reinforce the AFP’s commitment to cultivating principled leaders capable of navigating emerging security challenges,” the military said.

“The officers affirmed by the Commission have demonstrated professional excellence, strategic vision, and steadfast dedication that are vital to ensuring continuity and readiness of the Armed Forces,” it added.
