A Miss Universe judge who resigned days before the 2025 finals has posted a new and controversial statement on Instagram.
Omar Harfouch, who earlier withdrew from the eight-member panel, accused pageant executives of influencing the outcome. He said the allegations are his personal claims, which he previously discussed in an interview.

In his Instagram post, Harfouch wrote that “Miss Mexico is a fake winner,” alleging that Miss Universe owner Raúl Rocha had business ties to the father of contestant Fatima Bosch. He claimed Rocha and his son urged him in Dubai to vote for Bosch because “it will be good for our business.” He added that more details would be revealed in an HBO feature set for May 2026.
Harfouch’s remarks mirror concerns he raised when he stepped down earlier this week, alleging that an “impromptu jury” had pre-selected finalists ahead of the live competition in Thailand.
The Miss Universe Organization has not issued a response to his latest claims as of press time.
