Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) on Monday announced the launch of its UB Negosyante Christmas Village at BRAND CON 2025 to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) leverage the peak holiday season.
UnionBank’s dedicated space, scheduled for Nov. 11 to Nov. 13 at Newport Resorts World, will feature local merchants utilizing QRPH-powered payment solutions for fast, secure and seamless transactions.
“Our partnership with BRAND CON reflects our shared mission of equipping SMEs with the resources and knowledge that power up their brands to thrive in a dynamic economy,” said UnionBank chief marketing officer Albert Cuadrante.
BRAND CON founder and chairman Bingo Soriano said that “almost the entire village will exclusively feature Filipino SMEs,” providing an innovative experience for attendees.
The bank will also showcase its SME-focused products, including the UnionBank BizStarter Account, which lowers entry barriers with an initial deposit of only P5,000, and the UB Negosyante App, an all-in-one financial management platform for entrepreneurs.
UnionBank’s Business Line can also provide up to P10 million in revolving credit for SMEs seeking business expansion.
“Our goal is to build an ecosystem where SMEs go beyond banking—equipping them with the knowledge, networks, and inspiration they need to grow,” Cuadrante said.
“Through partnerships like BRAND CON, UnionBank continues to power up Filipino entrepreneurs as they take their businesses to the next level,” he said.
