“We are deeply grateful and honored to receive the Presidential Commendation on our 10th anniversary,” the two said in their acceptance speech.

“We thank everyone who has contributed to K-pop and to our fans, Carat, who have always supported us. We will continue to promote K-pop globally and contribute to popular culture as Seventeen,” they added.

The award honors individuals and organizations that have significantly contributed to the global growth of Korean pop culture.

This marks Seventeen’s second recognition at the awards. They previously received the Prime Minister’s Commendation in 2020.

Now celebrating its 10th year, the group is currently on the North American leg of their “Seventeen World Tour [NEW_].”
