Philippine bet Emma Tiglao wowed the audience at the Miss Grand International 2025 national costume show with an elaborate outfit inspired by Mayari, the Kapampangan moon goddess.
Her costume featured a crescent-shaped backpiece, silver wings, and a flowing blue cape, drawing praise for its elegance and craftsmanship.
Designed by Patrick Isorena, the ensemble highlighted Filipino artistry, while Tiglao’s performance reflected cultural pride and mystical allure.
“Each element weaves the story of a Filipina goddess—fearless yet graceful, mystical yet human, standing as a beacon of light amid darkness,” Tiglao wrote on Instagram.
Earlier in the competition, Tiglao also gained attention for wearing a solihiya-patterned pantsuit made by inmates, supporting her advocacy for rehabilitation through art.
Ten fellow contestants named her as their favorite to win the crown. Tiglao aims to secure another victory for the Philippines after CJ Opiaza’s win in 2024.
The Miss Grand International 2025 coronation night is set for Oct. 25 in Bangkok.
