Class suspensions have been announced in the following locations, citing the recent earthquakes and influenza-like illnesses.

Metro Manila

• University of Santo Tomas — all classes and office work across all levels until October 16

Calabarzon

• Alitagtag, Batangas — no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private, including ECCC and ALS; shift to modular distance learning
• Laguna — no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private (until October 31); shift to alternative learning modes
• Rizal — no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private (until October 17); shift to modular distance learning

Northern Mindanao

• Gingoog, Misamis Oriental — no face-to-face classes, public and private; suspended until further notice

Davao Region

• Davao Oriental — no face-to-face classes, public schools; suspended until further notice
• Mabini, Davao de Oro — no classes, all levels, public and private; suspended until further notice
• Mawab, Davao de Oro — no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private; suspended until further notice
• Monkayo, Davao de Oro — no classes, all levels, public and private
• Montevista, Davao de Oro — no classes, all levels until further notice
• Nabunturan, Davao de Oro — asynchronous classes for all levels, public and private, until further notice
