Philippine Airlines (PAL) is offering rebooking for travelers with confirmed flights going to and from Davao between Friday (Oct. 10) and Saturday (Oct. 11) following the 7.9 magnitude quake.
“Passengers with confirmed flights to and from Davao from October 10 to 11 may rebook flights to a later date without any fees or fare difference, subject to seat availability, or convert tickets into travel credits for future use,” the PAL management stated in an advisory.
PAL also stated that as a precautionary measure following the earthquake and tsunami warning affecting parts of Mindanao, its contact center site in Davao has been temporarily evacuated to ensure the safety of partner employees.
“As such, please expect delays in our chat channels, but our phone lines remain open. We will prioritize assisting passengers with bookings scheduled for today. We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding as we focus on ensuring everyone’s safety. Please continue to monitor official updates from PHIVOLCS and local authorities,” the airline stated.
Passengers are encouraged to check their email or the airline’s website for updates on their flight status and rebooking options.
