AN ABOITIZ-led power firm has been conferred the Community Impact trophy during the 2025 Nordic Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
The awards rites, held Aug. 6 at the BDO Tower Valero in Makati City, recognize organizations that make a meaningful difference in their host communities through impactful social initiatives, innovative solutions, and sustainable practices.
Joseph Yu, president and chief executive of the award-winning SN Aboitiz Power Group (SNAP), said they believed that business success is deeply intertwined with the well-being of the communities.
“Our focus on community development has shaped our business practices throughout the last 18 years.
Tonight’s award validates the impact of the time, effort, and commitment we have put into creating value for our host communities. We are very appreciative to everyone who has contributed to this mission,” Yu said.
