Seasoned actress Charo Santos had her ultimate fangirl moment when she met Korean superstar Hyun Bin during his fan meeting in Manila. On Friday, Aug. 8, Charo attended the Crash Landing on You actor’s meet-and-greet event at Solaire, where she posed for a photo with him.
“Crash landed… right into my oppa’s smile,” she wrote on Instagram.
In a separate post, she recalled how the hit K-drama helped her cope during the pandemic. “CLOY saved me during the pandemic in more ways than one. I’ll admit it! I became a mega fangirl and dreamed of meeting Captain Ri one day. Five years later, I finally met my oppa,” the caption read.
In a press conference ahead of his fan meeting, Hyun Bin said visiting the country had long been on his travel list. “The way they have welcomed me here… is really heartwarming and more amazing than I expected,” he said.
The Korean superstar is known for his notable roles in the hit 2020 K-drama Crash Landing on You and classics My Name Is Kim Sam-Soon and Secret Garden.
