Actor Alden Richards has officially started his aviation journey.
On Wednesday, July 30, Alden shared photos on Instagram from his first day at Alpha Aviation Group in Clark, Pampanga, where he posed proudly in a cadet uniform alongside his family during the induction ceremony.
“Day 1 starts today,” he wrote.
In an interview with 24 Oras, the actor said his curiosity about flight began at a young age.
“I’ve always been so curious paano lumilipad ang ganung kalaki at kabigat na sasakyang panghimpapawid,” he said.
More than a personal goal, Alden shared that aviation is a dream he is fulfilling on behalf of his father.
“Since nagkaroon ako ng isip sa mundo, parang meron akong core objective to fulfill my parents’ dreams na hindi nila natupad in their lifetime. And surprisingly, kagaya ng showbiz para sa nanay ko, for me, ito naman dream ni Dad for himself — eventually, nagustuhan ko na rin,” explained Alden.
Despite his hectic schedule, the actor plans to complete the two-year program through time management.
