Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has been named as the “temporary spokesperson” for AI and data company Astronomer, days after a viral video from a Coldplay concert linked the firm to an alleged office affair.
On Saturday, July 26, Astronomer posted on its X account showing Gwyneth jokingly answers questions. Rather than directly commenting on the viral incident, the actress promotes the company’s services and thanks the public for their interest.
“We’re so grateful for all the interest in Astronomer,” she said in the video, adding that the company is committed to “delivering game-changing results for our customers.”
Earlier this month, Gwyneth’s ex-husband, Chris Martin of Coldplay, unknowingly sparked the scandal when the band’s jumbotron zoomed in on a couple looking unusually uncomfortable in the crowd at their Boston concert. They both ducked away when spotted, fueling online speculation about an affair.
The two individuals were later identified as Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR head Kristin Cabot. Both resigned following the incident.
