Korean actor Park Bo-gum has been appointed honorary ambassador for 2025 Korea Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on July 24.

“The most anticipated star-studded casting of 2025! Korea—and the main character is none other than ‘You,’” the campaign teaser stated.

Bo-gum also lent his voice to the campaign’s official theme song, On My Way, described as “a refreshing new track capturing the excitement of traveling in Korea.”

KTO Acting President Seo Young-chung said that Korean entertainment continues to drive global interest in the country, noting that 45.2 percent of international travelers became aware of Korea through Korean programs, based on a 2024 survey cited by The Korea Times.

Bo-gum recently appeared in Netflix’s When Life Gives You Tangerines with IU and Prime Video’s Good Boy, where he plays a former Olympic boxing champion.
