Solaire Resort, Newport World Resorts, and Okada Manila—three of the largest integrated resorts in the Philippines—have affirmed their commitment to responsible gaming and ethical online operations amid rising public concern over digital gambling platforms.
In a joint statement, the resorts emphasized that their online gaming platforms are regulated extensions of their core businesses, operating under strict oversight by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). These platforms, they said, uphold the same high standards of integrity and transparency that govern their land-based operations.
The companies underscored full compliance with PAGCOR’s licensing and geographic restrictions, as well as anti-money laundering protocols. These include Know-Your-Customer procedures, player verification within 72 hours, and technologies that block access from outside the Philippines.
All games and systems used in online operations are certified by PAGCOR and tested for fairness through Random Number Generators. Promotional content also goes through strict review by PAGCOR and the Advertising Standards Council to ensure social responsibility and truthful communication.
The three resorts said they actively promote responsible gaming through deposit limits, self-exclusion tools, and mandatory age verification. Employees are licensed and regularly trained on compliance and responsible conduct, while all customer data is protected under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
In addition to regulatory compliance, the companies maintain their own internal safeguards, including regular audits, content reviews, and a dedicated system for resolving player concerns. These systems are designed to reinforce operational transparency and player protection.
The statement concluded with a renewed pledge to support national development through tax contributions, job creation, and donations to education, healthcare, and disaster relief. “Trust is earned through action,” the resorts said. “We are committed to building a safe and responsible gaming environment for all.”
