THE Office of Civil Defense (OCD) is set to launch a digital platlform meant to promote disaster resilience in conjunction with the observance with the observance of National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM).
In a press statement, the OCD said the platform dubbed “Panatag Pilipinas 2.0: From Online to Onscreen” will be launched on July 1as a “risk communication advocacy campaign aimed at promoting disaster preparedness.”
This year’s NDRM theme, “KUMIKILOS para sa Kahandaan, Kaligtasan, at Katatagan,” emphasizes the collective and continuous efforts of the Filipino people to strengthen resilience across all sectors of society.
The campaign’s core message, “Alam ng Pinoy ang Dapat Gawin Para Maging Ligtas sa Panahon ng Sakuna,” reinforces the shared responsibility of every citizen in ensuring safety during disasters—paving the way for a safer, adaptive, and disaster-resilient Philippines.
“Originally launched as an online advocacy, ‘Panatag Pilipinas’ now enters a broader phase–bringing its life-saving message to everyday spaces and reinforcing the campaign’s core reminder,” the OCD added.
Following its successful digital debut last year, “Panatag Pilipinas” entered a new and exciting phase – Launch 2.0 – bringing its message of safety and resilience to public screens in malls and cinemas nationwide
The program marked a major milestone – the partnership of the World.
