THE youths will take the lead in the Dangerous Drugs Board’s (DDB) nationwide activities for World Drug Day 2025 in Batac City, Ilocos Norte on June 26.
“We believe you are the future leaders of our nation, and as such, we are here to support and guide you every step of the way. With our youth-centered drug prevention programs and activities, we are building a country free from drug abuse,” DDB chairman Oscar Valenzuela said.
He said young Filipinos are at the forefront of this year’s observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking as the DDB rolls out a series of youth-led activities nationwide.
This year’s campaign centers on prevention, education and community empowerment, rallying the nation under the global theme “The Evidence is Clear: Invest in Prevention. Break the Cycle.”
