SN Aboitiz Power-Magat (SNAP-Magat) turns 18 on April 26, 2025, marking almost two decades of generating clean and sustainable energy and powering communities’ growth and development. The plant held an official anniversary celebration for its employees on April 25, 2025. Since 2007, SNAP-Magat has made significant contributions to the Philippine energy landscape through its 388-megawatt (MW) Magat hydroelectric power plant; the 8.5-MW run-of-river (ROR) Maris hydro plant; and, as of January 2024, the 24-MW Magat battery energy storage system (BESS) phase 1.
