Traffic mishap leaves two dead, seven injured

Two persons were reported killed and seven others injured in a three-vehicle smash-up along Commonwealth Ave., Quezon City early Sunday morning.

The Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said the fatalities were jeepney passengers. The seven injured were taken to a hospital.

Authorities said the accident involved a public utility jeepney plying the Jordan Plains-Philcoa route, a sedan car, and an electronic jeep.

The incident happened on the eastbound lane of Commonwealth Ave. going to Fairview across the Commonwealth Market.
