Senator Loren Legarda filed Senate Bill 2964, proposing a rewards system for long-time contributors to the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).
The bill seeks to establish the “PhilHealth Member Recognition Program” (PMRP), which will implement a points-based rewards system.
Under the program, members can redeem points for additional healthcare services, payment of out-of-pocket costs, preventive care incentives, and even non-medical health-related needs.
A PMRP Benefit Fund will be created to finance these rewards. The fund will be supported by regular contributions, reserve funds, grants, donations, government allocations, and investment earnings.
