Hosted by the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP), the congress brings together Christian business leaders from around the world to explore innovative solutions for sustainable business practices under the theme “New Paradigms for Business Sustainability.”

Founded in Brussels in 1931, UNIAPAC is a global organization representing over 45,000 Christian business executives across 40 countries. The organization aims to promote Christian social thought within the business realm, advocating for an economy that respects human dignity and prioritizes the common good.

By fostering collaboration among its members, UNIAPAC seeks to position business as a noble vocation that contributes positively to society.

Hosting the congress in Asia underscores the region’s vital role in shaping future business paradigms. As economies in Asia continue to grow rapidly, this congress provides a platform for sharing best practices and addressing challenges unique to the region while integrating global perspectives.

Delegates can anticipate a dynamic program featuring interactive sessions, panel discussions, and workshops focused on critical topics such as AI’s impact on business, addressing social inequalities, and sustainable development. The opening plenary session will tackle “Tackling Inequalities for the Common Good,” led by Ravindra Ngo, emphasizing actionable insights for businesses.

In a post-pandemic world, the congress addresses urgent issues faced by businesses today. Joey Avellana, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, states that insights shared will empower leaders to rethink traditional models and adopt sustainable practices that benefit both organizations and society.

The congress features a distinguished lineup of speakers who bring diverse experiences and insights. Notable figures include Ignacio Pugliese from Grupo Bimbo and Jose Ignacio Mariscal Torroella from Grupo Marhnos, who will discuss aligning business operations with global challenges while fostering social responsibility.

Delegates are encouraged to leverage insights gained during the congress to enhance their business strategies. Networking opportunities will allow participants to connect with industry leaders and explore collaborative ventures that promote sustainability and innovation.

Key sessions include discussions on “AI and the Future of the Enterprise,” led by Nikos Acuña, which will equip delegates with knowledge on leveraging technology responsibly. Additionally, an open forum featuring prominent panelists will encourage dialogue on pressing issues affecting businesses today.

The congress integrates Asian perspectives by addressing regional challenges while fostering global dialogues on sustainability. This approach ensures that discussions are relevant and reflective of the unique economic landscape in Asia.
