Actress Barbie Forteza, who continues to captivate audiences with her compelling role as Adelina dela Cruz in the hit show Pulang Araw, gave her fans a sneak peek of an upcoming project to watch out for—a film titled Penthouse 77.
In a post shared on her Instagram account, Forteza revealed several photos from the set of the upcoming film, where MMFF 2023 Best Child Performer awardee Euwenn Mikaell, as well as veteran actresses Gina Pareño and Rosanna Roces, can be seen alongside her in various scenes.
“Penthouse 77” is directed by Derrick Cabrido, who also directed the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry Mallari, which starred Piolo Pascual. According to GMA’s previous announcement about its content slate for 2023, “Penthouse 77” is a psychological thriller that revolves around the theme of homelessness within a city filled with skyscrapers and shanties.
The film is written by Joaquin Santos and produced by GMA Pictures and Clever Minds Inc. Details such as the premiere date and other cast members have yet to be announced as of this writing.
