BI agents intercept wanted Chinese

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) intercepted a Chinese man wanted for human trafficking and prostitution.

Du Shuizhong was intercepted at the NAIA Terminal 1  as he was about to board an Air China flight to Chengdu, China. Du was not allowed to leave and was instead arrested and brought to the BI detention facility in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City.

Du will be sent back to China pursuant to a deportation order that the BI board of commissioners issued against him in November last year for being an undesirable alien. He was also placed on the blacklist and banned from re-entering the country, the BI chief added.

Records showed that Du was previously charged by the BI for being undocumented and for undesirability after being found to be working for an establishment allegedly involved in prostitution and labor exploitation.

He will remain in the BI’s facility until the implementation of his deportation.
